This Thanksgiving, I'm Thankful For

Best wishes for a successful surgery, Kendall, and an easy and thorough recovery. I will be sending you my thoughts of success from my own successful MVD last Friday.

Kendall, I also had a bolt of panic about a week before surgery, and I called my neurosurgeon, and he said, we can postpone it, or if you don't feel it'll go well, cancel it. And I knew immediately I did not want to postpone or cancel, and I wanted to go ahead and take the risk on a high probability of success, and all my fears melted into resolve. Good luck. Keep breathing deeply, focus on success.

I am thankful for my family and friends. Im not sure if they understand this, or if anyone can really understand this unless you have it, but my loved ones are there for me if I need them. I am also thankful for this website and all of you who support it. It helps me that you are all here and I am not alone. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Best of luck tomorrow, Kendall! I'm having mine a week from today. As my pain has increased in the past 2 weeks, I'm actually looking forward to it... but like you, I'm also anxious and afraid. I will keep you in my thought and prayers. I'll even start now and pray that you are able to get a good night's sleep and are filled with peace in the morning. Suzanne

I am thankful that my TN is in remission so I can enjoy the Thanksgiving holidays. I am also thankful that some of you reported that you were pain free now. I am thankful for my husband who helps me through the bad times and helps me enjoy the good times.

I am so thankful for all my family and friends, this online group that has helped me so very much, and for my neurosurgeon, Dr. Casey. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving yesterday! Hopefully most are skipping the crazy shopping and doing it from the comfort of their home (online) or better yet, resting after a big day.

Hi Francine,
I hope you are well and still pain feel.I was reading all the success stories and came about yours. It caught my attention because Dr.Efron from Redwood city will be performing MVD on me on June 19th.I was encouraged to read your story.Sometimes I feel fearful about this but on the other hand I pray and trust that God is with me in this reap of faith.Thanks.

I am thankful that my recent MVD surgery seems to have worked. I am thankful for the medical team that brought me this success. I am grateful to all of you in this community who gave me hope during the last few years of pain and despair--I thought of you as my family. I am thankful to my husband Steve who stayed in the hospital with me last weekend and continues to support my healing, and my family and friends who sent me into surgery with healing thoughts and prayers. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
