Thank you all for your amazing responses to my wife's bog, Brainstorm. You give us so much strength as after an MVD, I recover from my Type 1 TG only to be impacted by atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia.
In her latest post called:
Waiting Versus Patience - Lessons From A Labyrinth, Gilly describes what she experienced as she walked a labyrinth and how it brought her to the realization that there is a difference between waiting and patience although they are often used interchangeably.
In that difference are some profound insights for those of us with TN and our loving and supportive care givers. To read the post, click here. We would love to hear your responses in the forum and/or in the comments section of the blog.
Hi Lisa- thank you for this comment and also for your one onBrainstorm. My wife has replied to you there.I agree TN requires patience on everyone’s part- ours, our family’s and our friends for huge lengths of time.
I am sure Gilly would be very interested in your labyrinth and how you are finding your way out.

Thank you!! I have never thought of patience in this way. Beating TN takes lots of patience and I have found myself also in a labyrinth!!
Hi Trish-, it seems so obvious when you read this, but I had not thought about it this way either. It feels much better to say I am being patient about getting better than waiting to get better.I will pass on your hugs!
Take good care.

Jon, yes it does feel better. From now on I am going to be thinking of myself as being patient, rather than waiting.
Thanks for passing on the hugs, I come from a big family of huggers and I like to think of them of them as healing.
Better give you another hug lol
