Thank you for being so welcoming. I'm in the UK and have joined this group on behalf of my mother who is 76. She had an MVD in July - followed by 6 weeks of headaches and nausea which resulted in a further op to drain fluid and a lumbar puncture. Then, she was fine - made great progress and resumed care for her mother (on her insistence - it was difficult to get her to rest despite our offers because she felt she wanted to get back to normal) The TN has gone but now she has a lump which comes up under the wound when she is lying down and a headache in the morning. The lump and the headache go during the first hour though some pressure remains around the forehead. From what I can gather this doesn't indicate spinal fluid leak as she is better when she is standing up. She is reluctant to go back to the hospital but I think that's the way we're heading. She doesn't have a fever, rashes, stiff neck etc. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this or heard about it. Thank - you
She needs to go be seen by somebody! Make her go. : )
