the Supreme Court has just issued its landmark ruling on healthcare, & has come down in support of the law. regardless of your political persuasion, this decision should make it impossible (in 2014) for insurance companies to deny any patients with pre-existing conditions.

This is exciting news especially for those with pre existing conditions. I am waiting to hear more. Health care should be a fundamental right to everyone. We need the law to go even further but at least to start somewhere is exciting.
It amazes me how many people are posting on facebook that this is socialism etc. I have read some real hatred today because of this issue. If I wasnt insured I may not be diagnosed yet, and certainly wouldnt be able to afford the care needed. The only issue I have with this bill is it didnt really change the insurance companies much..I work for one and know how tough it can be to get a claim processed. But being that Insurance companies are the biggest of all lobiests it doesnt suprise me.\ Wendy
