Spine, posture, muscle tension & anxiety

You know the saying, “You can take a horse to water but you can’t make it drink” so it’s a bit like that, it wouldn’t work if it wasn’t her protocol and she didn’t feel a sense of ownership.

It is totally a joint effort, I do most of the external research and put together proposals, we discuss them and decide how to proceed. If we decide to go ahead then it goes to her court, she has to diligently follow the protocol and observe the internal processes and any symptomatic changes and report back, we adjust/tune further and repeat cycle, so multiple feedback loops.
There have been some ideas that she rejected/resisted and I had to re package present again until we got the language right and came to agreement, this is a process we fine tuned during her interaction with Graves Disease (Hyperthyroid), so just building on that accumulated experience.

Just updating, everything still on track, she has had maybe 2-3 “pings” since we last spoke, but all had good reason. Currently she has tapered down on the Gabapentin, and stopped altogether last week, so this is the first week completely drug free. She still has the daily patterns of neck & shoulder tensions and we continue to work with the massages & postural exercises and will continue with this process until her neck & shoulder tension is rectified.
Strangely enough as we have come out of the intense pain experiences she has also recollected memories from many years ago, of having “headaches” where she particularly felt pain in the eyebrows, this looks very much like gradual onset TN. This is certainly the longest patch of peace we have had for the last 18 months, we’re still fine tuning and adapting the process as we go.

Things had tightened up a little over the week just passed, not severe, but present enough to remind her of it’s presence still there, only a few mild shocks, more so just the shadow presence over eyebrow, it all seems to be subsiding again over the last 3-4 days.
I’m still not sure if these relapses are an underlying hormonal? cycle or something that we accidentally aggravate, but the pattern has been fairly consistent over the entire process, there has been steady improvement overall with both the highs & lows being better as time goes on.
On another note we’ve had some additional thyroid testing done, that’s the previous disease story, and it looks like there’s a few challenges coming up with Hashimoto’s Thyroditis aka Autoimmune Hypothyroid, unwanted, but not entirely unexpected, so I’m in the process of reacquainting myself with new thyroid research, amazing how much tings have changed in the last 5 years since I was active there.

Thank you so very much, sparky1. I am going to re-read everything you’ve posted here. I believe I have quite a few parallels to your partner’s (wife’s?) situation and I will continue watch with interest and gratitude all of your updates here.

Thank you again.
