Does anyone else experience a feeling like a spiderweb or hair on your face? No matter how you try u can’t find or remove it? then next thing you know your in allot of pain!!! I was just wondering if anyone else experiences this too
I have that feeling but I haven’t associated it with increased pain. It is just another irritating feeling but not a painful one for me.
Hi Janet, not sure if it’s the same, but I get a sensation which feeels like a mesh or mask over my face, it has a skin crawling edge to it, maybe pins and needles describes it but different to the pins and needles that can occur in the legs or arms. It often feels as if my face is frozen. This sensation seems to occur when I’m having a TN flare, the more typical jolts/stabs of electric nerve pain.
jon.
For many years, I can remember this happening as a child. My nose will suddenly and randomly become very cold to the touch and feels cold. Also, I remember having a feeling that my eyes are cold too. I never really put all of these experiences together until recently. This would be allot easier if i could’ve talked to my neurologist more, asked questions etc. but instead i have to learn all i can from books and the internet. But like anything its one day at a time
Yes! I have very long hair, not so much red anymore, and that is a smile from 1996 or so; when I didn’t have AD or TN. I was 41 and all the docs said I was too young to have this disease and the pain doctor still questions my diagnosis because he’d only heard of it. Yes, I sometimes want to push a universal panic button. Afraid that I am going to have to suffer some horrific pain such as this without medication. I hate to think what might happen.
