MRI tomorrow evening but unfortunately wont get results for 4 weeks. Its the constant waiting that wears me out. on plus side now on increased tegretol and pain much better just the numbness in jaws to deal with and pain shocks when eating.
Oh well patience is a virtue they say.

Why such a long wait on results? Are they looking for compressions? Or is this an itnitial MRI to rule out MS and tumors?

Hope it goes well tomorrow, I quite enjoy being in the MRI machine. I make up imaginary dances to all the funny noises the machine makes.

This is initial MRI and have been given follow up appointment with neurologist for 18/6/13. Don't know why they are doing MRI as he said I had classic TN symptoms, think they are doing it to rule out anything else as he said I had diminished corneal reflex in left eye and balance not too good. I have had previous MRI on head and neck due to persistant swollen glands whih swhoed no abnormlities except cyst. I guess if they find anything different they will contact me, That is the ususal procedure here in UK for all these types of investigations e.g. xrays, CT scans, MRI ect.
