Post Surgery TGN

Been here for a bit, but the site looks different though, so I just wanted to say Hi to everyone.

I am a 27 year old Veteran. My reason for being here is that I had surgery during November of 2011 while in the Army for “complications” from a vascular malformation on the left temporal side of my head, due to a training incident earlier in September of 2011. Then after three years of specialists, and neurologists treating me with a broad spectrum of medications and types of surgery, they Medically Discharged me in 2014. Since then I have only been on Lyrica, and have had to cope with chronic nerve pain that causes migraines. The Lyrica helps more than anything else did, but it only dulls the pain and doesn’t negate it. Does anyone have any opinions on coping strategies or alternative methods to dealing with pain?
