I had a craniotomy in April 2014 for tumor removal and TN. After about 5 months I started with TN symptoms. In the past 2 months the pain increased to pre-surgery level (Nov 16th, 2014, to present...Jan. 6th, 2015. As EACH DAY passes the TN is worse and lower back ache worsens. I'm on 175mg two times per day (350mg per day) and it's helping some. The pain is constant with movement of mouth. The biggest concern..I believe I have some brain edema based on other symptoms as nausea, swishing/popping of inner ear when turning head to the left or moving from the right side to left side (TNis on left side...same side as tumor was on), severe constipation, dizziness with head movement, coordination especially small motor such as typing this, blips of unable to respond to a conversation (or thought in my head...which is rather scary since I realize my thoughts aren't 'there')
Help on this as far as information? Docs wont consider this an emergency and have put me off for an MRI and think I'm exagerating.
