I am ack to hospital Monday for a CT for possible CSF. I have of course been looking it up on line because I am really scared about this. It seems a major sign is a headache? I do not have a headache but do have the other signs. Such as a blocked left ear and water dripping out my left nostril. My MVD was on the left side. Has anyone has CSF without the headache? Crashgirl I really hope this turns out like it did for you and is not CSF but again honestly I am really scared. Would love to hear anyones experience. "Worried" Linda :(
My major symptom with my CSF leak was not being able to sit up or move at all because it would cause severe dizziness and vomiting. A headache was not my main symptom. My CSF leak was in my lower back from a lumbar drain. The leak fixed itself on its own. I also had a very small leak in my ear that fixed itself.
But I had a feeling of water or something blocking my ear for over 4 weeks and I was scared that it was still the previous CSF leak or that it had returned but according to my doctor it is due to swelling of the nerves from surgery.
I did not have any issues with my nostril. I know some here have had a CSF leak from their nose. Maybe you can do a word search on this site and see if you can find their comments.

Try typing in csf leak fluid from nose.
I’m sure I read if someone else in the group experiencing something similar.

Ill do that Mimi …not sure where search is but will find it. Things in my ear are really cracklings around today…is that good or bad? Find I’m sniffling more then dripping??
