Please help... Running out of timelier

Hi, my insurance is claiming in it’s denial that there is no scientific proof that the Stim implant works and claims that other insurances don’t pay for it. Will you let me know what insurance you have in what state if they paid for your Stim implant? My surgery is Wednesday Oct 2nd and the Surgeon is moving out of country so that’s my last chance. BTW I did have a Nerve Block and Trial Implant, both successful and both done to satisfy Insurance req

My insurance was blue cross Blue shield in Indiana and my surgery was done in Chicago, hope this helps with your fight! Kathy

Hi TL,

I have Kaiser in California, and they perform every type of stim, including MCS and DBS, under their plan. I will watch for your reply if you have any more questions.

Lily

Thanks, Lily, but after changing Drs and several long battles With my insurance I got my Stim earlier this year. It works great. Thanks for replying!

What type of pain do you have? Where will the leads be placed? I have great information to pass on to you, but it is only applicable to supraorbital trigeminal neuralgia (atypical) and chronic migraine.
