So, in my second round of p/t I was put with a new girl who had me drape my back over a cylinder and pull myself up like a crunch but it
was basically pulling my head up using my neck. I hurt immediately
and let her know. That was 2.5 weeks ago and I still have pain. When
I finally got to see my w/c dr. he brought up my tn like it was no big deal and prescribed neck traction, anti inflammatories and a tens unit. So far, I have missed a week of work (my own time lost) and no changing my work restrictions. He took 2 quick x-rays and said I was okay.
This is the second time p/t has messed me up and they are trying to send me back to the same place for a third round. I noticed another poster mentioning how sensitive their neck is but in relation to o/n. I suspect I might have g/n as well but not sure this would cause my reaction.
