I was curious to see if these symptoms are tn related. I notice when I smile it hurts not the stabbing pains and when I put on my blush it's like I can feel the whole nerve along my face. I wasn't sure if the meds are just dulling some of the stabbing pain. Your mind tends to run rapid which I hate. I am scheduled for surgery on the 18th I hope it helps.
I get some of those symptoms too. Smiling doesn’t bother me but sometimes putting on blush is torture. Or if my hair brush bristles accidentally touch my face can be painful. Sorry your dealing with this!
Thanks Kelly after 2 years I still question every symptom is this related to tn or something else I am scheduled for surgery march 18 I hope this all stops,
Triggers for me vary, which keeps me on my toes as it’s never consistent!
But yes, smiling, laughing spontaneously, brushing teeth, cool breeze, or any breeze, washing face, touching face, eating, drinking, talking etc
These have all caused my pain…but not consistently.
I hope you find long lasting relief with your upcoming procedure!
