New to forum and new to TN

Hello to you all. i have suffered with Headaches all my life and i was also diagnosed with epilepsy ten years ago. so when i started these funny attacks, i thought that it was a headache that was centred in my right eye. however in the last 3 months it has developed further symptoms such as loss of vision aound the peripheal edge and numbness in the face. i also only had to cough, sneeze, or physical exertion, crying, all sorts of other symptoms. eventually i saw my gp who urgently referred me to neurologist. they have referred me for a MRI scan just to rule out mini strokes, M.S etc.

i am not a helthy person anyway but i am struggling with this because all my normal headache cures arent working and it is a constant thunp intermingled with sharp stabs. i cant bear to touch my head. now it is spreading to the left side. i was up most of last night with it.i cant lie down, i have to be on my back propped up.

has anyone any advice? does it ease? does it end?

You need to get to the doctor ASAP and talk to them. If it's TN, they may can put you on something to ease your symptoms. Good luck to you!

yes i think you have tn yes it can get easier... i had periods in the beggining where my head was so sensitive i couldn't lay on it i started chiropractic which helped changed the nerve pain around but didn't really make it better i'm on anti depressents now which have helped some..i couldn't even cry in the beggining because it made my pain worse...and for some reason i sneeze all the time sneezing comes from your trigeminal nerve...i started with stabbing pain in my eye too and again with the chiropractic it changed the pain...but i still have pain in my eyes its less intense but still not a good feeling my name is amanda if you ever wana talk id be happy to help
