For those with bilateral TN, has anyone had MVD? Any success?
Over the past 19 years, I have talked with several (among thousands) who have had MVD procedures on both sides with success. Not at the same time, of course. And not everyone gets good outcomes -- particularly folks with a strong component of Type 2 (Atypical) TN. But indeed, some do have success.

I have bi-lateral TN and I have had surgery on left in 2011 with about a 70% improvement or more and the right in 2012 with no change that I can tell.
