So, I talked to the woman again today from the University of Pittsburgh and told her my pain shifts from the right tonsil to the left and sometimes down the middle and that today the pain was on the right and that it was a dull aching pain. She said that does not sound like GPN at all, although there are cases of Atypical GPN which are so rare. She said everyone they have seen there has the sharp episodic pain that is usually triggered by eating, swallowing,ect. She does not think based on my symptoms that I have it at all. Has anyone had the pain go from the left tonsil to the right and then down the middle and sometimes in the same day? Makes no sense. She said I need to get more tests and look at Eagles Syndrome and get into to see a neurologist. Thoughts?
