More meds oh my

Sorry to rush off last night in the midst of an attack only good thing is everybody understands.

My neuro doc finally called back with his answer: more meds

Here is the kicker- his suggestion is to add Divaloprex (Depakote) to help with the pain. Lo and behold I had 2 pills left from when my Psych doc took me off them! I can’t keep adding meds! This is ridiculous. I REALLY wish the 14th would hurry and get here.

Today I meet with my psyc doc. She told me she didn’t know anything about TN. I asked her to read up on it before my appt. I guess we shall see.

I really don't think there is much we can do about the more meds part. I wish, but we kind of have to resign ourselves to that I think.

Red is right, your psych who is prescribing those meds need to take a look at all the drug interactions. Also, I was told by my doctor that my anti-depressents may need to be adjusted because Carbs and Gabapentin can mess with things a bit. So that is one question to ask the psych who is familiar with the meds you are on.
