Has anyone experienced a weird metallic like taste in the area where you have pain?
yes absolutely - you will see that many of us have had that. For me, TN2, it went away after a few weeks of starting my medications ( gabapentin and amitriptyline ).
Yes I had this with my tooth pain last year before starting on Amitriptyline. Very metallic and always felt, or tasted, like it was coming right from that tooth. It went away with the medication.
Yep, sure do. It's awful!
I did not experience it but I belong to a facebook group for heavy metal toxicity and they talk about it a lot.
