Has anybody started with joint or muscle pain after starting lamictal? I started on 25 mg just over a week ago. First it was nightmares. Fortunately, they stopped. Then after about five days, I got severe joint pain in my right shoulder that radiated around to my underarm and down to the crease of my arm. The muscle contraction in my upper arm went to a pain level of 8. I went to Patient First, had six x-rays taken and they couldn't find any reason for the pain. I've never had this kind of pain before and since lamictal was the only medication I had started, I thought there could possibly be a connection. Any advice or information would be appreciated.
