yup I did and I would like to share with you. Most times we wear scarves to protect our faces from the cold winter winds. I happened to be in a store which sold workwear It was hereI found a hat. It is 10/4 Ganz Model # 70-WH-17. This is hard hat liner. It is like a hood with a scarf attachment which wraps around the neck to secure it. It also has a piece which Velcros over the front to protect nose and face area. The inside is a very soft fleece so it is comfortable around the face
I tried it out yesterday and today. It is lightweight and keeps the wind off the affected area. The winds have been 80 - 100 km and it has been -3 Celsius
I AM WARM. The wind is not hitting the face
I am so happy that I will now be able to shovel snow and play in the snow with my granddaughter I will not be a prisoner anymore
I thought I would pass this along as some of you may want yo view it online or visit a store where you live that carries this type of product.
I figured this is an option if you would like to be out this winter
how wonderful! we have had a wind chill of -32 celsius lately which makes even walking to the car daunting. could you send a link please? i am so happy for you.
This hat was an extra large but it was the only one in the store. If it is really cold I will probably wear a scarf or small hat underneath. Definitely not chic but does the trick
Barbara. Glad to hear. I went yesterday to a Christmas bazaar at a local school. I walked the few blocks!!! This was the first time in a very long time that I wasn’t holding my hand with a scarf over my face. I was able to walk and hold my granddaughter’s hand and our purchases in the other. It is like freedom and a whole new life. I am so thankful I found this unflattering hat but it works
