Wind problems. Solutions?

Now that I am transitioning from a driver to a pedestrian and bus taker due to my use of medical marijuana, I'm finding myself challenged by the trigger of wind.

Regardless of the temperature (it could be 80 degrees or 40 degrees out -- no difference) a slight breeze on my face can trigger instantaneous pain. The longer I'm exposed to wind the worse the pain gets.

I've found the right scarf and hat to cover my face and though I look ridiculous they work.

But unfortunately the neuropathy in my arm and my ribs also get triggered. Before I go out and buy a hajib (traditional Iranian women's wear that covers head to toe) I'd like to find out if anyone has any solutions to suggest.

Also -- I can't carry my purse on my shoulder for long, can't use a back pack, as these set off the muscles spasms.

The life of the delicate flower!

Sorry that I cannot help you, but would you mind sharing what scarf/hat combo you are using? My friend has a terrible time with the wind or a/c. Thank you.

I use a light weight large cotton guaze type scarf, with a broad brim hat that is crushable. I place the scarf over the top of my head, draping down over my ears, put the hat on to hold it in place and then wrap the two ends of the scarf over my face.

THANK YOU & good luck to you. I'm hoping that my friend will give this a try.

OK -- there you have the summer time wind shield. I can pull it further across my face and be "eyes only" if the breeze picks up.
