Hi I am 22 and wear a cap/turban following my religion. Due to this turban/cap I am feeling pain in my head specially in both of the temples as well as in the scalp. Also I am feeling pressure all over my head and face even if it is lightly tied. This has disturbed my concentration as well as memory.
Can u people please advice what sort of disease is this as I am not able to diagnose this from the last 3 months.
Are these the symptoms of Migraine ?
Are these the symptoms of Tension ?
Is it any kind of Neuralgia if some nerve is being pressed on wearing Cap/turban ?
Why my head is being so sensitive ?
Why the pain/pressure increases only after wearing cap/turban and spectacles?
I had a problem with spectacles, they made my ear to eye ache. I also wear ear muffs when out walking and i have to position them so they dont press on the area in front of my ear.
It was following these symptoms that I recognised that I had ATN as well as the Classic TN (electric shocks) which I knew I had.
My ATN reacts to any type of pressure, I can no longer sleep on the side of my TN as my temples burn and my cheek felt like it was being crushed. I was prescribed Amitriptyline for this and found it helped a great deal. I am still unable to sleep on my TN side, but can lay on the opposite side, which before taking the Amitriptyline I could not. I am also now able to wear spectacles without them hurting me.
I took Carbamazepine which helped me and Amitriptyline helped as I am now able to wear spectacles again, and can sleep on the opposite side to my TN again.
Well in the meantime I have met a Neurologist and he has prescribed flunarine for Migraine and some anti-depressant.
It gives temporary relief but still I feels pain on covering my head with cap/turban ?
Doctor is not listening to me : that Cap/turban hurts me and suggests Migraine and Tension.
I am confused whether it is Migraine/TN/TMJ ?
Plz Advise any Permanent Treatment.
