I made a trip to the dentist today. Last night my pain localized to my back molar. All the shooting all over face pain has disappeared. My molar was extremely sensitive to pressure and could couldn’t bite down with out pain but no shooting pains everywhere else. The dentist said I do indeed have a dying nerve in my tooth and he said it is responsible for the pain I’m feeling. I’m starting on antibiotics and just have to decide whether I want a root canal or to just pull the tooth. I’m leaning more towards pulling it and hoping that it is indeed responsible for this pain.
Hi Trisha,
I hope the tooth problems gets sorted and it would be wonderful if you can be pain free.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Thanks for sharing the good news.
Hugs Trish
That would be awesome if a tooth being pulled would get rid of your pain. I am hoping that is the case for you and your pain will be gone!
Let us know how you make out

Thanks guys I’m really hoping as well! I put of the procedure off until this Monday, terrified of dental work and need to get myself worked up for it. Also decided that since I won’t be able to smoke after the extraction that it will be a good time to quit so working myself up for that as well. Antibiotics seem to be minimizing the pain but it is still there. I’ll let ya know how it goes!
Come back and let us know how you fare please. All the best. Try not to stress, nothing is as bad as the fear we let into our minds prior to procedures.
Keeping you in my prayers!! I hope that it is just a tooth issue and all your pain goes away :)
