Well folks, Had my second round of Gamma Knife surgery this morning. I am feeling hopeful that this will work. I am staying on my meds for 3 months then will start weening off them. Hoping to be off meds by end of October. The “worst” part of the procedure is the injections of local anesthetic to the sites where the screws hold the frame to the skull. I spent a total of 6 hours at the hospital which included prep, and MRI, doctor planning based upon the MRI, and a 67 minute radiation treatment. The staff was amazing and I am quite pleased. Just wanted to share this with all of you.
