FYI, i have been diagnosed with TN on 14.06.2010. So as you can guess, i am freaking out about many things … worst, the doctor has advised there aren’t many TN sufferers in Malaysia. 
So i totally appreciate any advise / support you can give … the last few days, my left eye has been twitching frequently. I am not even sure if it is connected to my TN condition. Should i worry about it?
I know i sound like i am loosing it - that’s cause, i am! i so desperately want my normal life back!
Hi there. I’m so sorry that you have TN. I also had eye twitching that was brought on by Tegretol. After I was on it for awhile, the twitching went away. I saw you are on several medications and believe Tegretol (carbamazepine) was one of them. If it is very bothersome, you should probably mention it to your Neurologist just in case your dose is too high or is being increased too quickly. Good luck.

Thanks for your feedback. i am little at ease now. thought my nerves were going all out of whack! i am guessing the problem is i have started on tegretol itself 
my dosage is between 800gms - 1000gms perday and it just taking a toll on me :-(, i have started to slur recently too as well. that is one of the many side-effects of tegretol, yes?

So sorry you are going through this awful time. TN does many different things to many people. I am on 1600mg of Tegrotol(carbabmazepine) a day. As my doses increased I started noticing, my left eye twitched for about 2 weeks, my short term memory is affected, my spelling takes awhile sometimes, comprehending what I am reading is very hard, my hands shake lots, it is all side effects of the drugs.
