Is anyone using Epitol? Have you had any side effects from it? Hubby's ankles are swelling up considerably from it. I was wondering if this will be constant while using this drug, or does the swelling disappear over time...or get worse?
Hi, I just read your post and I might add , I took Epitol for a short while. My pharmacist replaced my regular Carbamazepine with the brand Epitol. This is when my TN pain became worst, it was as if I was not even taking anything for the pain. I did not have side affects such as swelling but, my sister's medication was switched to it and she developed a horrible rash over most of her body. I think I would try asking my pharmacist for another form of carbamazepine, again , this is my personal opinion from our experiences with Epitol.
