I was told by My GP today that people just live with the pain that he would onl take me off work today he gave me a ref to neurology but told me to pretty much deal with it cause there is no cure

Ah yes, happens all the time. Sorry to hear that your doc is one of them.
If he had to live with tn for 2 minutes he would change his mind in a hurry. Your neurologist will be much more sympathetic. Good luck.
