I have noticed that stress makes my tn work, i am trying eliminate as much stress as possible in my life i want to see if that helps
I absolutely believe that stress triggers TN, atleast it does for me. I have wondered if stress makes my blood pressure go up which maybe increases blood flow to that vein that is touching my trigeminal nerve? These are just observations and possibilities that I have come up with. I would love to hear if anyone else finds this to be true...
I believe it does, because when your blood pressure goes up, your blood vessels start pulsing.
By the end of the day mine seems worse ... I have small children and they are so noisy and I get frustrated by them by the end of the day! Plus noise doesn't help. It's now 6:30pm here and I'm sore.
Funny you say this about blood pressure because when I was pregnant I had no pain well when u r pregnant your blood pressure is lower I am starting to wonder if there is a connection between blood pressure inflammation and the pain..just a thought...lol

Hi ayre,
I believe there could be because if I have a lot of caffeine or more that a beer or two my ATN gets worse. I think some medicines used in treating TN also lower blood pressure, at least my pressure went down dramatically while medicated.
