I need to use a CPAP machine but have trouble for a few reasons:
1. The water never really warms up enough. I'v tried heating it but it tends to cool off through the night.
2. The headgear presses against my face.
If you use one, what do you do to get through this?
Thanks!
Hey Debbie! I don’t use one though a dear friend of mine does. She doesn’t have TN, but Fibromyalgia, COPD and a host of other ailments. The water only gets room temp. The mask does press firmly against the face and needs to be replaced quite often. Do you use a nebulizer or any inhalants, I meen inhalers; Freudian slip! Check with a respriatory specialist…I wouldn’t be able to stand that type of pressure or constant temp on my face. Fortunately, that’s one problem I don’t have. Sorry for my lack of help, my best to you and yours. bob
