im gathering papers to send to hopkins to get a diagnosis. i believe there is an element of glosso and vagus. I tried to get out and get a pedicure to lessen my depression. I woke up feeling very tight in the neck area, used a hot compress. the beauty parlor was freezing cold. came home and the right cheek, eyes, had horrific nerve pain, also the temple which forced me to lay down. fell asleep immediately. heat pads on cheek lessen pain. slept on and off 24 hours. i get the pressure off, im finr. but it returns as soon as i go out. theres also a fluid build up. im losing it.

Praying for you, Elaine…take it easy. You'll find the relief you're looking for, it just takes time sometimes. For me it is when patience is hard to find and the pain is getting the best of me. I've found a way to help this pain and I pray that you find your special way that works perfectly for your system. That all this pain will subside or be lessened, so you can rest. It's good that you're napping and giving your body the extra rest it needs to manage under the high level of pain you're experiencing. I feel for you. This might take a little time, but you will get past this…YOU are stronger than TN!!
Hi Elaine. I hope you get a break soon. I have the tongue pain on one side and tongue-triggered pain even down my throat. Pushing food around in my mouth triggers it through the trileptal I take, now adding vicodin which lessens it. Sleep helps me too. Keep trying--this website shows people find different ways. i need to find the right people and present a diagnosis and that is the hard part with a typical. if i stay home, decrease the fluid, avoid cold air, its better. The palate graft pushes up tissue from the insude of the lid, but he ignored the fact that there is painful scar tissue surrounding the lid, TaTa helped get me an appt in Atlanta. There is more than one issue to solve if possible

I went and had a pedicure as well a few days ago and my face has been tingling ever since. My theory has been that the chairs do not hit me right. The nail lady turned the chair on without asking me, and it ended up hitting the back of my head. My fault for not saying NO NO NO! I need to be more proactive.
