I have a filling today in my trigger tooth. I have always thought there was something wrong with this tooth as its the one which the pain first shot up and left me in pain for over a year (TN1 and 2)
I was so lucky that the TN1 went into remission and after a year the TN2 also stopped.
The dentist can now see a cavity in this tooth and I am so afraid the whole cycle will begin again. I have no choice but to have it filled other wise it will lead to further problems with my teeth.
Thank you to Vicky and others who have added to this thread. I have begun Carbagen again ( I had stopped taking all meds) in preparation for my nerve being knocked about.
I will never forget what TN felt like (and I am now reminded of the side effects of the Carbagen!) and I give thanks to God every day that I no longer have it. Please may that continue.
Thank you girls still taking the Carbagen but will wean off it over the next few days as its making me so dizzy and tired. Feel for everyone who is on it full time. Thankfully no electric shocks but side of nose does feel sore on an off. Also tooth itself feels very painful. Dentist says give it a week for the very large filling to adjust. . This scares me because again because of the nerve. Guess I will just have to wait and see and pray the filling settles down.
