how many people have had blur vision on gabpentin....??..also ankles swelling...i had to go back on the trileptal ...

I was taking 1200 which what Ive heard is a low dose… I’m only taking 400 at night to get weaned off… I started on Trileptal 2 weeks ago…
I hope the Trileptal takes away the symptoms for you...post update when you know :)
You too girl… I hope your vision gets better have you been on it long? They say it takes awhile to get in your built up in your system …
I have blurred vision on Lyrica, can barely read, worse in the mornings. I took gabapentin, within minutes I fell over I was so dizzy I couldnt stand up. The Lyrica made me gain weight, it also makes my legs tingle. Lyrica, gabapentin and worst of all tegretol really affected my legs, the tegretol made it so bad, the cramps were horrible that I was walking like I was 100 years old

Wow !! They wanted me to try Lyric but my insurance won’t cover it… I don’t think there is a good serizure med out there of course they all have symtoms… I think I’m going to have the PFR it might leave my face numb but this medicine is for the birds… I can’t handle the blurred vision it drives me nuts… I think mine is worst in the morning… Take care… God bless
yah, morning is definitly worse, i only take 50mg in the morning, I skip it at night, if I take it twice a day I cant even remember my name. I agree the meds SUCK! I wear contacts and reading glasses and I can barely see this screen. I can read a book a day and its going slower now with the eyesight issue. Lets hope a cure is on the horizon!!

I take 600mg of Gabapentin 3 times a day. I have not experienced blurred vision but my feet do swell. It seems like when I take my pill the pain gets a lot worse for about 2 hours before it gets better. Did you experience that?
No … But I did have a sight headache right after taking it…
I am currently on 3000 mg of Neurontin 900mg am 900mg afternoon and 1200mg at bedtime. also Baclofen 3 times a day. I also get the "blurries" and feel like I can't focus. Usually get the brain fog about 90 minutes after taking meds, pharmacist said this is normal. To be honest I get more answers about meds from her than Dr's. No longer getting the sharp,electrical pain ( thank god) but just a dull constant ache near back molar and jaw line, which is tolerable. Hoping this dosage will do the trick since I finally feel somewhat functional. Good luck to all!! this is not a fun condition......thank god for this group!!
