thanks to tink i met with a prominent plastic surgeon. the cold really shrank the scaar tissue but no tn pain. i am know fairly sure the recent surgery of last may may have aggravates weak nerves on the branches. It was a bit awkward. The surgeon wants me to look prettier and my mind races not as tight. The shrinkage was incredible. My eyes shrunk and even i was astounded. I will be seeing 2 surgeons at hopkins. when this pain and question of scar tissue began i wasnt taken seriously. I am now. I will attempt accupressure next week. I want to try to be as healthy as possible. Insurance ok"d a patch released recently here for inflamation. Plastic surgeons, really good ones, are hard to find. I have lost 8 years and i will gladly take any improvement back. this will be an incredible journey. I wont give up, because it effects more than just me. Without my husband none of this would be possible. Do i keep a journal. this is all so unreal.

Are you talking about having cosmetic plastic surgery, and wondering how that will affect your TN? So, you had the surgery and lost 8 years off of your appearance? Is that what you mean? Without TN pain? That must be nice.

the tn pain and muscle pain was caused by the face lift, so it want great, i need the reconstructive surgery to lessen the pressure and adhesions i have formed. It can improve the pain or worsen it. Right now i will accept a scar to reduce the pressure and pain. i will never completely lose the pain and i fear worsening it. Its traveling from my cheek and jaw to my ear.
These are what my pain attacks are like. theres pressure on muscle and nerve ab well as a build up of fluid, We must fix certain areas for function and we are hoping we we can reduce the pressure in some areas. for me plastic surgery did not work very well. its not about younger looking but less pain and functioning. this is all reconstructive. did that help.Its a facelift in reverse. it caused all of the pain.
