Ashamed

I’m almost ashamed to admit this, but my TN has hardly ever been painful. It’s a god-awful feeling nonetheless. It’s the worst, most excruciatingly indescribable feeling I have ever had to deal with. I was just wondering if anyone else has felt this way, or am I the only one?

Please, do not feel ashamed, everyone here has unique individual experiences of TN. What is hardly ever painful to you, seems to cause you enormous pain. I am sorry that you have this pain.

Peace,

Kate

87,no,I also experience tn differently, although I believe back in the early 90’s I read in the book “striking back” ( in a min. I will see if I can find it in there) a dr. Fred Price from mayo clinic was quoteded as saying that tn was the worst sensation known to man! Wishing you the best, dawn

I really wonder if I have TN after reading about everyone's pain. I have electricity tingling, water drippy feeling, and ear stabs, Sometimes it feels like bees are stinging my face. I am worried that I don't have TN and the neurosurgeon, whom I have an appointment with on Dec, 14th says he doesn't know what's wrong. I want a definite diagnosis. The Neurologist that I've been seeing the past year treats me like I'm making it all up.
