I have read little on this as I can’t find much to read but as to my previous blog and specific teeth and TN wasn’t sure if connected. In so much pain and still have a week before my appt to neurosurgeon. Desperately trying to find answers. Thanks
I'm not sure I follow your question. Are you saying TN caused by PTSD?
Also, can your primary doc call in some lidocaine patches for your face? Do they have you on any meds while you wait for your neuro appt.?
I have read that while getting dental work that it can affect the trigeminal nerve. Thus causing post traumatic trigeminal neuralgia. I was diagnosed 2 years ago with type 1 and up until recently my symptoms were controlled.around end of October beginning November symptoms all of a sudden started frequently. So my neurologist is now sending me to a neurosurgeon. The jolts get so intense they stop me in my tracks. I have read all kinds of info I am really wondering is it just me that feels like my teeth on affected side are bad. Sometimes it feels like my jaw burns and hurts.
