Anyone have a Medic Alert?

Quite a while ago I enrolled online for a Medic Alert membership and bracelet. I wondered what was happening so I emailed them ... I didn't know you had to print out a form to take to your GP (they did not make that clear! I thought maybe they contacted them). I had an appointment with him on Wednesday, could of done it then. Have dropped it off at the clinic, he is now on leave til late next week :/

I am sure he will write my allergies and I really hope he writes the TN in under conditions. On Wednesday he tried to tell me that because of my age it should resolve (despite no history of a herpes infection!) ... grrr (oh and he refused to give me anything stronger than acetaminophen!). Here's hoping he writes everything on there!

Anyone else got a bracelet/necklace? I did wonder whether it was worth it at NZ$90 or so!

Reposting someting I found out about at a local meeting

I come to this site most often -- but the other site - Facial Pain Association that I visit has medical cards that act like a USB port thingy -- so if in ER or in need - your meds, info- can all be downloaded quickly

I'm sure you could put any other conditions on there also! I saw one at our local support group meeting.
