Any positive stories? Dr or hospital reccomendations?

I’d give 2 thumbs up to Lutheran General In Park Ridge.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Douglas Anderson, Head of Neurosurgery at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood (right on the edge of Chicago). He follows his patients progress long after surgery. I was recommended by a friend and very grateful I found him.

I ACTUALLY FOUND A PAIN MANAGEMENT DOCTOR IN BLOOMINGDALE, IL (Chicago suburbs) WHO HAS A MOTHER WITH ATYPICAL TN AND MS. I'M SO THRILLED TO FINALLY FIND SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS FROM BOTH A PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL VIEWPOINT.

If anyone is interested in his name and address, please contact me.

I was referred to Mayo Clinic , MN. and Dr Fredric Meyer , Chief of Neuro Surgery did my surgery. It was a great experience up there. ( north of Des Moines, IA). I had been referred to Iowa City, to Univ. of Iowa Hosp. several yrs ago, it was a horrendous experience . Up at Mayo they do a team approach . The first time up there saw two Neurologist, then in the afternoon saw two Neurosurgeons. Their bedside manner was wonderful! I would recommend them in a heart beat.

Hi Rhonda.... You the 1st one I have come across that has been to Mayo. My surgeron was Mayo trained and that played a part in my selection process. In addition, I had read a research report by Dr. Bruce Pollock from Mayo that convinced me to precede with surgery.

I had an epirdermoid tumor removed May 17th. I'm curious what you had done at Mayo, did they do a MVD? have a tumor removed? Radiation?

Thanks and thanks for sharing,

Jerry Parker

Hi Rhonda,

I have an appt with Dr. Meyer at Mayo next week. I am curious if you met with Dr. Pollock too as you mentioned meeting with two neurosurgeons? Just wondering if you recommended one over the other? I have heard good things about both of them.
