I was just prescrbed 5mcg of Brutrans patch and I was wondering if anyone else had any experience with this medication? I heard it was a God send for ATN, when still taking regular anti-convulsant meds.
I haven’t heard if it, but looked it up and it sounds like it has potential!
I think many, if not most of us, need to think outside if the box.
I take Desipramine by mouth and then rub a compounded cream on my face that has Gabapentin, Lidocaine and capcaisin in it. It didn’t do much the first few weeks, but then started helping. I only need a med for BT pain every ten days and it works fast. So much more manageable. Goooood luck! Hang in there!!!
I don't use Butrans but I take it's ingredient buprenorphine. It helps A LOT. I see your post is from Sept. How's it working for you?
