I NEED TO GO TO THE ER…MY PAIN IS CRAZY OUT OF CONTROL…I have never been to the ER since my diagnosis in 2008…I was there a couple times before I knew what was going on. I don’t want to go empty handed and leave there the same way I am now…any ideas?
Get yoour doctors after hours number and take it with you
If they don't understnd or believe your diagnosis
they will give you narcotics -- but they may not last long
You can be pumped full of moraphine and it will take the edge off for a few hours -- where as any other pain - would work for 12 perhaps
Ask for tramadol as a last resort if they think you are narcotics-seeking
It can take the edge off as well as having an RX for topical lidocaine or lidocaine patches
or for inside mouth/ lidocaine mouthwash/nosespray
