Ok so the procedure did not work for me. That does not say it will not work for other people. I tried it two or three times with the doc, I really wanted it to work then finally accepted the fact 'its not working' According to the doc I had it did work for others. Just not ME. Maybe its due to the fact I have ms.
It did work for a while (short time really) then it came back after having the lidocaine, I started to get the pains that I was all too familiar with. I had stopped all seizure meds before starting the SPG, I was very nervous at that time not having any 'pain control' in my system.
So life goes on dealing with this terrible pain and taking the Triliptil. The only positive thing I can say is with MS the pain can go away even for a few months but I also know it will come back.I know this because it has done it before,it can go away for a few months if only I know what triggers to come back!
