So last night I was rushed to the ER by my old man. It was after being hellish pain the was not slowing down and only increasing. My hubby called my pain doctor three times and no call back. It was not pleasant, and I feel terrible for scaring my kids and hubby. Thankfully I was taken back into the ER quickly, and the doctor remembered me from a few years back (actual and ER trip that was stomach pain and vominating at the start of my fun journey with TN). It was great to have a caring doctor and one whom did not treat me like a drug seeker. After a shot in the butt, and an Iv and several hours the pain or most likely the drugs given to me knocked me out. I was so thankful to wake this morning in pain that’s an 8 instead of the off the charts.
Although I am worried the pain from tn is just now turn up the amps of pain and morphing into a bigger monster. Last Saturday I spent the whole day and night in dreadful pain. Of course we were on our annual camp out in the middle of nowhere, so all I could do was try to sleep off the pain. Honestly I don’t understand how much more pain tn can bring on.
For those of you whom have TN for three plus years; did you notice how your pain progressed? Was it sudden or gradual? What did you do when the pain progressed? At this point I’m terrified how much worse tn will get for me. Right now I’m having a difficult time eatting and there are very large chucks where I can not talk, drink, or really do anything because of the fear of what type of wretched pain it will bring. Sorry for any typos or if I sound all funny one of the ER meds is still in my system and it just makes me feel doped up, groggy, and sluggish(ick). Thanks y’all
