Thank you all for the warm welcomes. Much appreciated. My life has been doctor busy for the last 52+ weeks, Many Lung CT Scans and biopsy on one that found 2 nodules and Blastomycosis and taking Itraconazole for the last 52 weeks -- this ends today and last Sunday the TN came back - I am in the process increasing to a painless dose from 100 MG of the Gambepetin. I have a question for any that might have the answer. I've had 3 back surgeries over the past 35 years. This last summer I had excruciating pain and was sent to a pain management doctor and he finally did a 4 levels of neural ablation (I guess I'm super lucky the Massachusetts compound wasn't used for this procedure). Im curious if anyone can tell me if TN serve thing and the neural ablations could be related. Thank you very much.
Bumping this up to see if anyone can answer your question…
Thank you Mimi

I would give RED a message here - most knowlege !
Donna,
Neural ablation in your back is not likely to be related to your TN pain, Donna… The 5th cranial nerve branches from the brain stem, above the cervical spine. For my information, please confirm to what are you referring with the term"Massachusetts compound"? (stereoid shots tainted with fungual menigitis?)
Regards, Red
Thank you Red -- I was just curious since they both involved nerves. Yes Mass. Compound is the steroid shots tainted with fungal meningitis. I was just lucky. Donna
