This Weekend - Bay Area (SF) Support Group Mtg - SAT, MAY 4

Hi Bay Area face pain sufferers and their significant others,

Please join me in attending this new group, run by some great, motivated fellow face pain folks.

It is held at Alta Bates/Summit Hospital in Oakland. The next one is on Saturday, May 4, from 1:30-3:30pm in the Elm conference room, 350 Hawthorne Ave., Oakland, located near the MacArthur Bart station.

The Elm conference room is on the right just before the entrance to the Emergency Room waiting area.

The organizers already have commitments from medical professionals to come and speak at future meetings. I requested their permission to repost their info here. They are both TN sufferers who are in successful remission through surgery.

If you would like additional information regarding these meetings, please contact:

if you plan on attending an RSVP would be appreciated but is not required

This meeting is open to your significant others too!!

Please come, it would be great to meet you all, and as a new group, we could certainly use more members!

Sincerely, Lily

PS: If you come from MacArthur BART, take Telegraph towards W. MacArthur Blvd and then under the Fwy until you reach 34th St. Turn Left, go up 34th until you reach Webster St, then turn Right. From there the hospital is on the right side about 1/2 block down.. If you are used to walking in the city you should be fine with the distance, it is about 6 blocks, not long ones. Unfortunately no shuttle runs on the weekends.

If you drive in, do not park in the parking garage that is just off of Broadway, it closes at 2:00pm, we learned the hard way the last time!

I'll keep checking in if anyone has any questions, and will try to kick this post up every once in a while.

Kicking for Tuesday morning.....enjoy your coffee, tea, juice or other favorite wake-up ritual!

Lily

Good morning all, hope to see any and all Bay Area Facial Pain Sufferers this weekend! Thanks everyone else for tolerating this post popping up every once-in-a-while!
