He was going to do the Gamma knife surgery, but he gave me a long preach on how it was only a 85% result rate on working. I already had one failes surgery that left me in extreme pain every day. No pills help. First they tell me I had a mild stroke during surgery; now they say oh we might be wrong you have onset MS. I am scared out my life. No where to turn for help. The Dr. told me I could still do the surgery but it would take 9mths to feel the effect. If the surgery worked this time . And I want radtion rays on my brain and kill good cells. This Dr. really scared me about Gamma Knife surgery. I need to find a good meds route.
Kate, out of curiosity, who did your surgery. I also live in SC. I'm so sorry about your failed surgery and increased pain. Not what you expect going into surgery. Wish I had a solution.... but I'm at a loss
