I had part 1 of the root canal today. I got the nitrous oxide which made the procedure so much easier. Tomorrow I go to the neurosurgeon to discuss my options since I've run out of medication options.
I LOVE nitrous. It takes away that risidual pain. I don't know why everyone doesn't demand it for dental work.
I'm so glad that it wasn't a horrid experience like you were afraid of. Take nitrous for the next part as well. Getting the crown ready is a lot of drilling, though you shouldn't feel any pain, it will make it a lot easier for the crown prep and it will be sore, especially since you don't want any triggers.
