Prednisone Help?

I just finished 3 weeks of prednisone, it seemed to help about 50% with eye, cheek and lymph node pain. Almost as soon as I stopped the pain came back as usual. Also, the prednisone gave me horrendous hip pain, and I have a family history of heart problems too. Did anyone get relief from Prednisone? See my neurologist again on Friday. Eyes so sore, burning and sensitive to light I can’t even look at the moon. Nothing like having a wire brush pushing down on your eyes. The only thing that helps a little is just keeping my eyes closed. Anyone have help with Prednisone? Side effects? Alternatives to Prednisone? Thanks all for your support!!
