Post Something Positive Here Each Day

Please tell us at least one POSITIVE that happened to you this day. It can be any wonderful action or event, an inspiring thought that came across your mind, an exciting emotion, or a nice sight, smell or taste or feelings. ONLY POSITIVE, NO NEGATIVE.

Nothing is too trivial, feel free to add more positive as things happen.

I like this. My positive for the day is spending this wonderful day with my husband and 3 kids. I've had NO pain today thus far and if I do who cares. Tonight we will be with my parents, sister, brother, and their families and it will be even more perfect!

Bread pudding... made it today for the first time in years, forgot how much I love it.

The smell of it baking, the squishy texture, the golden raisins and cinnamon, topped with warm vanilla sauce that oozes into the cracks...

I have another positive for today.

A family friend that has had a long history of alcoholism and mental illness is doing very well this Christmas. In the past he's had significant problems over the holidays, but is currently not drinking and is starting to mend fences with his family.

How long it lasts is a question I can't answer, but I am so happy that he isn't sitting home alone and isolated today. He's where we should all be, with family and loved ones, and I'm glad that his nieces and nephews will get to see him as the extremely kind and good person that he is at heart.

I have had a WONDERFUL Christmas with my family. Had a great Christmas Eve with the whole family at my Mama & Daddy's last night. Didn't sleep much, then got up at 5am and started cooking for my brood at home. Took a break about 8 so we could open gifts and see what Santa brought my grandson. Went back to cooking. We ate about 11am-Turkey, ham, dressing, sweet potatoes with marshmallows, sweet peas, corn, rolls, iced tea, pecan pie, and no-bake cheesecake. YUMMY! I was so tired that I laid down immediately after eating, turned on a movie and passed SMOOTH OUT, LOL! The movie was almost over when I woke up. I hope everyone else had as nice of a Christmas as I have had. :-)

I have the best Christmas I have had in the last 5 years!! I have had a PAIN FREE day!! I even put on my special heated TN mask and played basketball outside with my daughter!! It was 30 degrees with snow on the ground!! I feel like ME today!! Merry Christmas to all my TN friends!!

My positive for today is that I have been almost completely pain-free for the last 3 days! Christmas Eve only had a few minor twinges when I was chewing a lot and a few when I got home. Christmas Day, NONE and today, NONE! I am almost scared to say it for fear of it coming back. I swear I think this last attack was sinus/allergy related. I am going to discuss this with my neuro when I go for my appt Jan. 16. I have always had terrible sinuses since I was 18, and they just get worse every year. Hope everyone else is having pain-free days!

Each morning ,I fill my bird feeders then I watch the birds while I drink my morning tea .

The feeders attract a large variety of birds and they brighten my day xx

My husband sent me this text this morning....

"you are my sunshine my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are dark and grey..damn it's cold outside!"

It made me smile.

I went to see Les Miserables in theatre with my daughter who is home from University for the holidays, it was a beautiful movie and so wonderful to spend time with her, AND my pain was tolerable! Happy day for this chick! : )

Good thing for today...boss bought pre-made cheesecakes. (so i didn't have to make em!) Made my day. lol

Oops, haven't posted any positives for a few days, LOL! But the thing I am happy about is that for at least 10 days, my TN has been under control with the upped dose of meds......YAY!

I went to the movies tonight and enjoyed a totally pain free evening. I even forgot my TN. Aaahhhh

Today's happiness....the Bears will NOT be playing in the postseason! Hehehehe. Go Packers! (and thank you Vikings!)

Oh...and another one. (i can do more than one, ja?) ...i got to eat some chips today while watching the game!

I am happy that my increase in meds are finally working and that I feel normal for now (aside from being sleepy and a little dingy, LOL). I look forward to the new year and hope it is MUCH better than last year.

I was able to sing and dance for a bit last night (new year's eve) without pain. Nothing like at-home karaoke!

I am happy to have a new year that hopefully will be better than the last couple of years! I hope we all have a happy and pain-free new year. :-)

I’m up at 3AM with my pending MVD on the brain, think my “excitement” to reach the other side has finally risen to the level of anxiety about it - the mental tornado is much more pleasant this eve

My happy for the day was I talked with my mom today who is finally starting to feel better post shoulder surgery and I was able to speak with her for more than five minutes. We had an hour and half phone call. Love my mom and am so happy she is feeling better:)

I took my dogs to the park for a walk and I didn't have the usual pain afterwardsfrom the cold! What a gift.
