Hi. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I had MVD 6 months ago. It went very well and the recovery was actually easier than I thought. Unfortunately it was unsuccessful (which I knew was possible). Since the surgery, I’ve had such problems with my equilibrium. If I move to fast, or turn my head side to side I get very dizzy and nauseous. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, did it go away? Thanks so much.
After 6 months…i would see neurologist ASAP,!

I am still in vestibular rehab to deal with my dizziness and balance issues 15 months post mvd. sometimes the 8th nerve gets stretched or irritated while the work on the 5th and this causes these issues. nerves can take a long time to heal. all the best at your appt.
