Does anyone with PHTN use prescription dry eye drops? I am seeing an eye doctor next week for dry eye pain and am worried about the reaction from the virus. I know Restasis hasn't been tested in people with herpes zoster virus, what have you used? Thanks!! Susan Richey

I have herpes zoster virus and I am on Restasis. I have had this horrible dry eye for almost a year now after having my second CyberKnife treatment. I have not had any problems with using Restasis. I am on an over the counter non-preservative eye drop and Lotemax also. I could not live without them. My eye has been so much worse with the cold weather and wind. I experience a lot of pain in my eye. Are you going to a ophthalmologist? Make sure you do that. My dry eye is permanent and is very miserable. I have to use the over the counter eye drops multiple times per hour. I hope this helps and wish you luck!! Donna
