Pain while eating

I never had pain in my jaw before, always in the top branch around my eye. But several times over the past few months, I’ve encountered issues while eating. When I move my bottom jaw to chew, it triggers that real deep pain inside my head. Who else has trouble eating? This is not cool, I can’t lose any more weight, and I want to finish my lunch!

I actually despise chewing. My t3 branch is the most constant one for me though. I’ve got it in my jaw gums and teeth all of the time. I mostly chew on my left side but I own a powerful smoothie machine and many of my meals come from that. I have found that sucking through a straw hurts too so avoid that. I’ve lost a lot of weight since March also but I think the smoothies keep my going nutritionally. Sometimes I think I’d stave to death without them. You can message me and I’ll tell you about the machine and some really good recipes if you want.

I started out with what I called “eye aches” those migrated to my jaw. I have just been diagnosed with TN. My symptoms are already changing. I started out having a searing sensation running down my jaw line. I now have bursts when I start eating. After the 2nd or third bite the pains goes away and I can eat fine. It can be as small as a pice of cereal that will set it off. I am not looking forward to more pain.
